Anna Whittaker BA (Hons) Product Design, MSc Light & Lighting

The effect of light is of special interest to Anna and a keen interest and passion for Art, Design and Architecture adds creativity to her work, resulting in a varied and diverse skill base.

Lis Errington BA (Hons) Product Design, MSLL, Cert Mgmt (Open)

Lis joined the Lighting Design department at Holophane in 2002. Whilst working at Holophane Lis has worked on many lighting schemes along side Holophane Sales Engineers, including projects such as Siemens Traincare and Ebuyer. Lis has been running the Lighting Design Training since 2006.

Professional and Academic Qualifications:

  • The Institute of Lighting Engineers (ILE) Exterior Lighting Diploma. To be completed 2010.
  • David Currie Award Finalist May 2008.
  • The Professional Certificate in Management at The Open University.
  • Society of Light and Lighting (SLL) Diploma.
  • Lighting Industry Federation (LIF) Advanced Courses.

  • BA (Hons) Product Design, including a placement year at a Lighting Manufacturer.






MaryAnn Townsley BA (Hons) Interior Design

With a background in interior design, lighting has always been of interest to MaryAnn. The way that lighting can be utilised to transform the atmosphere of a space is a subject MaryAnn has always been passionate about.

With her creative approach to solving problems, MaryAnn is the latest addition to the Lighting Design team.

The versatile and specially created Professional Visual Lighting Software program provides the necessary tools required for calculating interior and exterior designs.













AGI32

AGI32 is one of the most advanced light rendering software packages available on the market, providing realistic 3D light rendered images.












Reality

Lighting Reality is used especially for roadway lighting, enabling precise designs calculated to meet current British Standards.











Photoshop

Photoshop permits design concepts to be created quickly and effectively, allowing design ideas to be seen in-situ.
