The new DALI-based specifications enable smart luminaires that report energy metering, operational, diagnostic and inventory data. It also makes it easy to add sensors and network lighting controllers to luminaires.
 
This allows you as the customer to select future-proof luminaires which are ready to be upgraded when new sensors become available. With further use cases becoming achievable from an ever growing wide-range of partners who manufacture compatible components.

ZSC010 Remoticom Zhaga Smart Controller

The ZSC010 is the second variant in the Remoticom Zhaga Smart Controller product line and is ideally suited for outdoor applications. It is ideal for the control and configuration of individual fixtures. The device automatically connects to the Global Navigation Satellite System GNSS to obtain date and time information in real time. If correct time information cannot be obtained via GNSS, the existing light sensor takes over the switching on and off. The switching configuration, optionally using astronomical table or a dim profile based on date and time, can be realised with Bluetooth communication (App). Therefore, this device can easily replace a photocell or, based on LineSwitch, a control mechanism. The ZSC010 works with Sensor Ready (SR) drivers via a standard Zhaga Book18 Controller. The result is a long lasting, cost-effective and easy to design solution. Ideal for energy savings. An intuitive app called ZSC010 Access provides quick and easy access control and configuration of the device during and after installation.

Outdoor Photo/Motion PIR Sensor

The FDP-301 Wattstopper is an IP66 sensor, suitable for outdoor applications where presence detection is needed. It features a PIR combined with and integrated photocell and requires a luminaire with an intelligent driver, such as the Philips SR and a Zhaga 4-pin socket. It can be programmed to enable presence detection below a certain lux level eliminating the need for extra photocells or custom solutions, largely simplifying the installation.
